Principal Robins awarded Utah PTA Outstanding Administrator of the Year Award!

 

Heritage Elementary is excited to announce that Principal Lance Robins has been selected as the "Outstanding Administrator of the Year" award by the state of Utah PTA organization for the 2021-22 academic year. Members of the PTA, students, & Heritage staff celebrated by surprising Mr. Robins with the announcement and lining up to give cheers and high fives to him as he walked the halls of the school at the end of the school day on Tuesday, May 3rd.

“There is no one more deserving of the Utah PTA Outstanding Administrator of the Year Award than our very own Mr. Robins. He is an exceptional example of what our school motto stands for: ‘Heritage Huskies are safe, kind, responsible and ready to lead’. Mr. Robins is a great role model and is always making sure each student recognizes their potential and has a safe place to learn and grow,” remarked Heritage PTA President Elect, Jami Stokes. “Mr. Robins has put his heart and soul into making Heritage Elementary a place of learning and growth for each student. The feeling of warmth and security that is felt by the students at Heritage Elementary is directly correlated to the positivity and encouragement that Mr. Robins brings. We are so excited for Mr. Robins to receive this award and know he is very deserving of this honor.”

 

 

Mr. Robins was surprised at the school by an announcement made by the PTA on Tuesday, May 3rd towards the end of the school day. He was escorted through the halls to loud cheers and high fives by the students showing their love and appreciation to him. “Mr. Robins has been such a great advocate for the PTA and we love working with him. He is always so willing to support our crazy ideas and activities for the students. You can tell he loves the school and wants what is best for each student. We are so glad we could surprise him with this award” stated Courtney Walker, PTA President. 

 

 

Principal Robins will formally receive the award on Thursday, May 12th at the annual Utah PTA Convention at the Davis County Convention Center in Layton, Utah. He will also be recognized at the Cache County School Board meeting on May 19th. The Utah PTA selection includes the entire state of Utah which has over 1050 public schools.
