 Notes from the School:

Got questions???

If you have any questions about Heritage, please go to our website at www.ccsdut.org/heritage. We do our best to keep this site up to date and accurate. You can find the lunch schedule and calendar of events.

Do You Have A Plan:

Please talk with your child about their plans for how to get home BEFORE sending them out the door in the morning. Where should they meet with friends or siblings if walking home?  Will they ride the bus or walk? This will help calm anxieties about not knowing where to meet or how to get home.

Time For a Story

Want to spend time with your youngster, build her reading skills, and help her learn to love books? You can do all three when you read aloud.

Here are suggestions: Read Regularly: Aim for 15-20 minutes daily. Read during a siblings sports practice or when riding in a car. Take Turns Choosing Books: use your turn to introduce new titles and genres. Let Her Participate: let her turn pages or finish rhymes. Be Playful: use different voices or add your child’s name to the story.
