Masks not required the last week of school

On May 13th, Governor Cox announced that the mask requirement for schools would end the last Monday of the school year. This means that masks will no longer be required, but are still optional for all Cache County School District students and adults beginning on May 24th. A public health order was released immediately after the Governor’s press conference to reflect this change.

This is welcome news for our school community and yet another indicator that we are reaching the end of what has been a very long and difficult year. As we have mentioned many times, we have sincerely appreciated parent and student support this school year.  Our ability to hold in-person instruction for students, Monday through Friday for the entire school year was due in large part to parent trust and support and the efforts of our dedicated staff and amazing students.
