CCSD training prepares paraeducators to support student literacy
In anticipation of the new school year, the CCSD Elementary Literacy team recently trained over 90 new and returning paraeducators. The training, which took place on August 19th and 20th, was focused on Early Reading Intervention (ERI) and Reading Mastery, which are small group reading programs for grades K-2. The paraeducators who attended the training were mostly newly hired, but some previous aides returned for a refresh. These paraeducators will work with all grades in each of the 17 elementary schools.
Cache County School District is grateful for our paraeducators and all the support they give our young learners!
