Local libraries collect and donate over 440 masks for CCSD students

receive the public library donation of masks from Brittany, James, and Thomas Britsch
Many thanks to the staff and patrons of the Smithfield, North Logan, Mendon, and Hyrum Public Libraries! Under the direction of Brittany and James Britsch, over 440 cloth children's facemasks were collected and donated to CCSD schools and students. All of the masks, which came in various sizes to accommodate small children up through teenagers, were handmade and featured bright, fun, and whimsical prints. Many of the masks were made from cloth with literary patterns such as Dr. Seuss or Harry Potter. The masks have already been distributed to schools and will be shared with children in need.
"I am impressed at the generosity of our community," shared Brittany, who is a teacher's aide at Cedar Ridge Elementary. "Everyone really cares about the safety and comfort of our children. We hope these masks can help keep our school children safe during this unpredictable time." Her husband, James, is the director of the North Logan City Library.
We appreciate the support and generosity of our local library patrons and community!
