CCSD spring sport athletes show great promise
Student-athletes in Cache County School District are some of the most competitive and talented athletes in the state. Unfortunately, due to efforts to flatten the curve of COVID-19 in the state of Utah, spring sports were canceled this year. CCSD’s spring sports teams would likely have seen great success in their various seasons if this had not been the case.
The Herald Journal Sports Reporting Team compiled a series of articles detailing what may have been if coronavirus had not canceled the spring sports seasons.
- Region 12 Softball race could have been compelling
- Mustangs, Riverhawks headlined deep Region 12 Baseball Field
Coronavirus cancels inaugural girls lacrosse season - Girls golf season barely started before getting cancelled
- Coronavirus cancels inaugural boys lacrosse season
- Cache County girls track teams were looking solid
- Region boys tennis race could have been tight
- Season could have been special for local soccer teams
Congratulations to our spring athletes for building a reputation for success over the years! We wish you the best of luck in the future.
