Cache County Board of Education accepting applications for interim board member
The Cache County Board of Education regretfully received a letter of resignation from School Board Member, Allen N. Grunig. His resignation is effective on April 11, 2019. Due to his resignation, it is necessary to appoint a new board member to complete an interim term ending January 4, 2021. An election to fill the remaining two years of the four-year term will be conducted in November of 2020.
An application form can be accessed below or from the Cache County School District Office (84 East 2400 North, North Logan) and must be returned to Business Administrator, Dale Hansen, at the district office by 4:30 p.m. on April 30, 2019. The applicant must be a registered voter and reside in Precinct #5 (Hyde Park 01, 02, North Logan 01, 02, 03, 04). Interviews with the Board of Education will be held on May 2, 2019, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Cache County School District Board Room, located at 2035 North 1200 East, North Logan, Utah. The appointment for this position will take place during the regular Board meeting on May 9, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.
