CCSD Before- and After-school Programs

For the last four summers and three school years, Cache County School District has used COVID relief funds (ESSER) to offer before- and after-school programs in fifteen of our schools without competitive after-school grants. That funding has expired, and those programs will end after this summer.

Funding for after-school programs is based on the number of at-risk students in our district. A drop in the number of at-risk students in our district has significantly reduced the amount of funding available for after-school programs. We are currently exploring a grant and possible program modifications that would allow us to continue offering before- and after-school programs at our high-need schools. We anticipate that we will be able to offer modified programs at several of our high-need schools for the 2024-25 school year.
