Mountainside Elementary teacher, Brittny Amott, recognized as an outstanding science teacher
Congratulations to Brittny Amott, who has been selected as the 2023 Region 1 Outstanding Elementary Educator of the Year by the Utah Science Teaching Association! She took the initiative to apply for a grant and then received it through Green Our Planet, allowing her to introduce a form of technology, called the hydroponics system, at Mountainside Elementary School.

Congratulations to Missy Stuart, who was recently chosen as the 2022-23 Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (UIAAA) Athletic Director of the Year. Stuart has been a coach and teacher in Cache County School District for 27 years.

Sunrise Elementary students combine learning and creativity to create a mosaic of Utah
After working for nearly a year, students at Sunrise Elementary have completed a colorful glass mosaic featuring habitats and animals found in Utah. Pairing curriculum with creativity, students incorporated content from science lessons into a beautiful art project.

CCSD high school students excel in art competitions across the state
Students in Cache County School District are leaving their mark on the Utah high school art scene by submitting entries to the Inaugural Northern Utah High School Art Competition Exhibit and the Springville Museum of Art High School Art Show. All four high schools in the district had student artwork featured in these exhibits.
