Sunrise Elementary students combine learning and creativity to create a mosaic of Utah
After working for nearly a year, students at Sunrise Elementary have completed a colorful glass mosaic featuring habitats and animals found in Utah. Pairing curriculum with creativity, students incorporated content from science lessons into a beautiful art project.

Let's Celebrate our 2022-23 Winter Academic All-State Honorees!
The Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) has named its Academic All-State honorees for 2022-23 Winter Sports. The Academic All-State award is the most prestigious honor the UHSAA presents to senior students. Students are selected for the award based on their academic excellence and their athletic capabilities.

CCSD educator honored with Lifetime Service Award for her contributions to the language teaching profession
Congratulations to Shauna Winegar, who received the Lifetime Service Award at the Southwest Conference on Language Teaching (SWCOLT) Conference! This award is given to educators who have made significant contributions to SWCOLT and the language teaching profession. Shauna is our district's Dual Language Immersion coordinator.

CCSD high school students excel in art competitions across the state
Students in Cache County School District are leaving their mark on the Utah high school art scene by submitting entries to the Inaugural Northern Utah High School Art Competition Exhibit and the Springville Museum of Art High School Art Show. All four high schools in the district had student artwork featured in these exhibits.

Birch Creek teacher Natalie Nish is named the UAEA Elementary Art Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Nish, who was recently named the Utah Art Education Association's Elementary Art Educator of the Year! According to the UAEA, this award is given each year to one elementary classroom teacher or specialist that "stands out above and beyond all their peers at the local and state levels of participation, education, and advocacy."

24th Annual Young Artist Cup Competition to be held on March 29th and 30th at Ridgeline High School
This annual event showcases the musical talents of students who attend Mountain Crest and Ridgeline High Schools. Students compete for cash prizes and trophies in six areas: graphic art design, female and male vocals, strings, piano, and brass/wind/percussion.
