White Pine Elementary PTA raises $40,000 for playground upgrade

Jen Geddes, 2022-2024 White Pine PTA President, asked then-principal Shellie Healy what the school needed most. The answer? More swings on the playground. Two years and $40,000 worth of fundraising later, Geddes and Principal Derek Beer reflect on the power of community to create positive change.
