From elementary through high school, students engage with various art forms, mediums, and techniques, building creativity and skills that support their growth as artists and learners.

Elementary Visual Art Opportunities
Students in grades 1-6 attend a weekly 40-minute visual arts class. These classes provide:
- An introduction to fundamental elements and principles of art.
- Hands-on experiences with various art mediums to encourage creativity and skill development.
- A foundation for lifelong appreciation and exploration of the visual arts.
Middle School Visual Arts Opportunities
At the middle school level, students may select visual arts classes as elective credits. These courses help students:
- Build on their knowledge of the elements and principles of art.
- Refine their skills through projects using diverse mediums.
- Create quality artwork that reflects their growing artistic abilities and understanding.
High School Visual Arts Opportunities
High school visual arts classes offer a broad range of opportunities for students to:
- Fulfill arts credit requirements for graduation.
- Explore specialized courses such as:
- Drawing and portraiture
- Painting with watercolors, oils, and other mediums
- Art criticism and art history
- Ceramics, sculpture, and commercial art
- Digital photography, desktop publishing, and interior design
- Work with materials like pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, paints, and other mediums to develop technical skills.
