Screenings for 3-5 Year Old Children with Suspected Delays

Cache County School District will be conducting screenings for children with suspected delays on Thursday, September 12th and Friday, September 13th, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Cache County School District Legacy Campus, located at 2035 N. 1200 E. in North Logan.

This is for children ages 3 to 5, who are NOT eligible for kindergarten in 2019-20 and live within our district boundaries, to see if they qualify for a preschool program for children with developmental delays. Screening areas will include: speech, academics, gross/fine motor skills, vision, hearing, behavior, etc. Children who demonstrate delays in any of these areas are encouraged to attend this screening.

If your child shows a delay in any area during the screening, a second appointment will be scheduled to do more in-depth testing. After the second round of testing, a meeting will be scheduled to go over the test results and to see if your child qualifies for the program or not.

Please click the link below to request an appointment and we will respond by email before September 12th with your appointment date and time.
