Scott Rigby Selected as the New Cache County School District Business Administrator
We are pleased to announce that Scott Rigby has been selected as the district’s new Business Administrator. A proud local alumnus, Scott graduated from Utah State University in 1994 and brings nearly three decades of internal financial expertise, a deep commitment to education, and a proven track record of fiscal leadership to his new role.
Scott is a familiar face within the district, having spent the last 29 years serving CCSD—most notably as the Director of Finance. His leadership is defined by a unique ability to balance rigorous financial management with a genuine passion for supporting educators and students.
Scott loves working with people and with numbers. His goal has always been to help our teachers and students secure the funding they need for a world-class education. His extensive contributions to the district’s growth and infrastructure include:

Bond Campaign Leadership: Scott played a pivotal role in the successful passage of the district's recent bond by assisting with community meetings and delivering critical educational presentations.

Capital Growth Management: Scott oversaw and managed new school construction proposals for the last 20 years.
As he steps into the role of Business Administrator, Scott looks forward to expanding his outreach within the community. He is highly motivated to connect with new people, collaborate closely with teachers and administrators, and engage transparently with community members to ensure the district remains on a path of strong financial stability and educational excellence.
Outside of his professional duties, Scott is deeply family-oriented and an avid outdoorsman. He has been happily married to his wife, Jalyn, for nearly 35 years. Together, they have five children. In his free time, Scott can be found golfing, skiing, and making memories in the beautiful Utah outdoors.
