      As Mountainside's Principal I organize, plan, encourage, comfort, support, inspire, engage, and educate. My school has a distinct personality about it. It’s a safe learning environment where student learning is maximized and a place where students can flourish in all subject area's. It is my goal to:

• Strengthen connections and communications between teachers, students, and families.
• Provide a safe/caring learning environment for all students.
• Bolster student self-confidence by increasing parent involvement in their child’s learning experience.  
• Enable students to become lifelong learners.
• Promote higher levels of reading, writing and critical thinking skills in each grade.
• Expect "best practice" teaching practices in all classrooms.
