Doug Snow, Principal

I am very excited to be the new principal at South Cache Middle School.  I have been in education as a teacher and administrator for 26 years and have loved it.   Most of my career has been spent in the Cache district, but I also spent time in the Logan district, Utah State, and Madison County in Idaho.  Watching students’ progress and master skills they didn’t think they could master is the best part of my job.  I feed off the energy that students bring to a school.  That atmosphere cannot be duplicated!  Prior to coming to South Cache, I have been an assistant principal at Mountain Crest High School, Spring Creek Middle School, and Logan High School.  As a teacher I have taught math, physics, principles of technology, astronomy, history, and physical education.

My wife Kimberly teaches at Utah State University and we have three kids, two of whom are married.  We love to travel, go fly fishing, play racquetball and pickle ball, go 4-wheeling in the mountains, and hang out with friends and family.

It is a privilege working as the Assistant Principal at South Cache Middle School.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to get to know, appreciate, care for and help educate your student.  Navigating the “Middle School Years” and finding success during them is such an important element of a student’s future.  I feel as though my role in helping students succeed is to be an advocate for and someone that students and parents can come to when they need help traversing this time.  After nearly twenty years of working, and living in Cache Valley, I know that Cache Valley truly is one of the best possible places to educate and raise a family.
