The goal of Youth 2000 is to help students develop leadership skills, build confidence, develop public speaking, build character, and to serve the school.  Twenty students from 5th and 6th grades were selected this year to participate in Youth 2000.  This year's theme is "7 Habits of Happy Kids."  Students will meet monthly and be involved in leadership training experiences and have the opportunity to teach short scenarios of Character Education values in the classrooms.  They will be involved in weekly school recycling  and other service opportunities throughout the year.
