You can access the school’s website at https://www.ccsdut.org/Domain/400. This is where you will find our school handbook, which contains information on the drop-off/ pick-up for carpooling, safety/ emergency information, dress code, school wide discipline plan, etc. Busing information is provided by the Transportation Department and can be found on the Cache District website (http://www.ccsdut.org). You will also find fee information on the Cache District website. Education in Kindergarten through 6th grade does not require a fee to be paid. Your child’s teacher may ask for donations to cover fieldtrips, supplies, or activities. Children will not be excluded from activities if they are unable to donate.
School Community Council Elections
The School Community Council works diligently to help develop and approve the School Trustland plan and implementation of Trustland funding, as well as the school safety plan. All parents are invited to attend the School Community Council open meetings; however, only elected members may vote on decisions being made. Utah State law requires all schools hold an election every year to replace members on the School Community Council. A member on the council serves a two-year term and may serve more consecutive terms if they are elected. We currently will be electing three parents for a two-year position. The only requirements for becoming a candidate are that you have a child attending our school and that you have time to serve. Our meetings will be held at 3:45 in the Cedar Ridge Conference Room on the following dates:
September 7, 2022 October 5, 2022 November 2, 2022
December 7, 2022 (if needed) January 11, 2023 February 1, 2023
March 1, 2023 April 12, 2023 May 3, 2023 (if needed)
If you would like to declare yourself a candidate for one of these positions, please email Mrs. Ivie at (amyivie.bassett@ccsdut.org). We must receive your notice of candidacy by August 15th. If there are more candidates than openings, we will have an election that will take place on August 24th through August 26th. We will send notices home with students and send an alert message to texts, emails, and phone numbers. The names of our council members and their contact information will be announced in the school newsletter (which will be electronically sent to emails this year) and listed on the school website.

The National School Lunch Program waiver that provided meals at no charge to students is expired at the end of the 2021-22 school year. Ways to qualify for FREE or REDUCED meals: household size or income (forms available in the office).

Sincerely,
Amy Ivie, Cedar Ridge Principal
