- Please use the link below and follow the directions to complete the form.
Recipient’s teaching should be innovative and creative. The nomination should
include specific examples that impact individuals as well as the entire classroom.
Example from past winner’s nomination:
Recently, we have been learning about different Biomes, and to finish off this subject
we have started our “Lights, Camera, Action” project. For this, partners make a short
movie about a Biome that includes different topics we have learned about in the
ecosystem such as food chain, energy transfer, symbolic relationships, etc. By doing a
presentation instead of just reading it out of a book, we were able to learn in a more
engaging way and also added technology to science.
Each Hats Off Award recipient will receive:
- A cash award of $500, Plaque and Hats Off Lapel Pin
- Presentation in front of students and peers
- Recognition in the media
The nomination must be received on or before Friday, March 6, 2020
