Research Requests & Applications

All research activities conducted with Cache County School District employees, students, or on district premises must be approved through a formal research approval process. This process (similar to a university IRB) ensures that privacy rights are maintained, and that research efforts support the district's mission and goals.

Conducting Research in Cache County School District
The Cache County School District recognizes good research as a building block for improving education.  Priority is given to projects that:

a) Yield useful products or data for our schools.
b) Align with district programs, goals, and mission.
c) Are conducted by CCSD staff in pursuit of advanced degrees.
d) Are not intrusive and do not interrupt classroom/school activities.

The guidelines and application for submitting your request to conduct research in CCSD can be accessed through the link below. The CCSD Research Review Committee reviews applications monthly, from August through April. Applicants will be advised by letter regarding the committee’s disposition of their application.
