Title IX
Title IX Coordinators
Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs and activities. This means that no student, employee, or participant can be excluded from, denied benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any school or district activity because of their sex.
Title IX applies to all aspects of education, including admissions, athletics, extracurricular activities, and employment. It ensures that all students, regardless of gender, have equal access to educational opportunities and are protected from harassment and discrimination. The law also provides protections for pregnant and parenting students, ensuring they can continue their education without unfair treatment.
Our school district is committed to upholding the principles of Title IX to create a safe and supportive environment for all students. If you have concerns or questions about Title IX, please contact our Title IX Coordinators.
