Meal Payments & Applications

 

 

Cache County School District uses PaySchools Central (opens in a new window)  as its online payment system for meal accounts for all K-12 students. PaySchools Central is free for households to pay for student meals using a debit or credit card. Meal funds can still be paid for by bringing cash or check to the main office.

With PaySchools Central, you can securely and quickly pay for your student’s meals, apply for free and reduced meals, set up reminders and alerts, review their purchases, access detailed reports, and manage payments anytime, anywhere, on any device.

A PaySchools Central account is required to make student lunch payments, as the guest checkout option is only for school fees which is not applicable to our district.

Registration

1. Visit or Download the App

Visit PaySchoolsCentral.com (opens in a new window)    or download from the Apple app store or Google Play.

2. Account Setup

Enter your profile details, select Register. Once registered, you will receive an email to finish the account details: set up a password, link student(s), staff, choose notifications, and set up a payment method.

To add a student, you must have your student’s ID number. (Obtain after logging in to your PowerSchool account OR watch for an email from CCSD containing your student’s ID number. If still unable to locate the student ID number, contact your school.)

3. Manage Accounts

From the dashboard, you can review the Meal and Fees balance, add account restrictions, and more. 

4. Free/Reduced Application

One Application per household and only takes a few minutes to complete. Data is handled with strict protocols that ensures confidentiality. Once your account is set up in PaySchools Central, you can begin your Free/Reduced Application by selecting it from your dashboard.

If you have an application for the current school year on file, then you do not need to fill out a new application until after Aug 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year.

5. Payments

From the dashboard, you can opt to pay all or partial balances, set up auto replenishment, and follow the steps for processing in cart.

Note: ACH/Check payments are not available through PaySchools Central

Internet Convenience and Transaction Fees
The following fees will be incurred per PaySchools Central Transaction:

Payment with debit or credit card: 3.25% processing fees per transaction
