New Hire Onboarding

Welcome to Cache County School District

Welcome aboard! We have an extraordinary group of talented and hard-working professionals, and we welcome you to our team! This page aims to help you through the onboarding process as a new employee. Please follow each step carefully. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the Human Resources Department by calling the District Office at (435-752-3925). 

Step 1: Complete Paperwork & Schedule an Appointment for Fingerprinting (If Needed)

The first step in getting hired is to complete the appropriate paperwork. The following forms are required and can be printed and completed using the links below. These forms can also be picked up at the office of one of our 25 schools, at our Service Center (Transportation/Maintenance 1550 North 800 West, Logan UT), at our Legacy Campus (2063 North 1200 East, North Logan), or our District Office (84 E 2400 N, North Logan).

Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposits

W-4 Employee's Withholding Certificate

I-9 Employee Eligibility Verification

Utah Consent to Background Check (Not required for licensed educators who already have a background check or employees under 18)

Request for Electronic Applicant Background Check (Not required for licensed educators who already have a background check or employees under 18)

After completing the paperwork above, schedule an appointment for fingerprinting (Not required for licensed educators who already have a background check or employees under 18)

STEP 2: BRING COMPLETED PAPERWORK AND REQUIRED ID TO THE DISTRICT OFFICE

Once you have completed the paperwork above and scheduled an appointment for fingerprinting (if needed), bring the completed paperwork and required identification to the District Office (84 E 2400 N, North Logan). If you schedule a fingerprinting appointment, bring the paperwork to the appointment. If not, bring the paperwork anytime during office hours. 

District regular office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Summer office hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A List of Acceptable Documents is available in Step 1 or with the forms you picked up. 

PAPERWORK CAN NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION

Once you have completed Steps 1 & 2 above, please watch for an email from CCSD to the email address you provided. Once you have received this email, follow the instructions in the email or use the steps below to finish the onboarding process.

Step 4: Sign In to Your District Email

Step 5: Login to Employee Access

Employee Access (EA) is an online service that allows you to update your contact information, view earning statements, enroll in and make changes to benefits, view time off balances, access your W-2, review required documents, and other payroll information. Please log into EA, and complete the required tasks (displayed under "My tasks" on the left side of the page) and readings.

Step 6: Access the Employee Training Site

Human Resources oversees required policy reviews and training for employees in seven areas. This training is required every three years. We deliver this training through VectorSolutions, one of our third-party partners, on a rotating three-year schedule. Employees will have between September 1st and November 14th to complete training for the current school year. Please login to our CCSD Training Platform with your district username and password by clicking on the button below to complete this year's training. You will receive regular reminders about training during the school year.

Step 7: Complete time clock training (Not required for salaried employees and coaches on stipends)

Classified (hourly) employees should complete time clock training.  This training can be accessed using the links below and takes 15-30 minutes.

Step 8: Contact Your Supervisor

You have successfully completed the onboarding process.  Please contact your supervisor to begin working! Please call the District Office at 435-752-3925 if you have any questions.
