Policy No. 5600 Substitute Teachers

Substitute Teachers

1. Cache County School District currently contracts with Kelly Educational Staffing Services to provide coverage for all aspects of substitute teaching. Kelly Educational Staffing Services will instruct educators on how to utilize its systems.
   1. Pay rates for substitute teachers will be as follows:
      1. NON-LICENSED: $60.00 per day
      2. LICENSED: $70.00 per day
   2. No benefits will be provided by the District for substitute teachers and no experience credit will be allowed on the District salary schedules for substituting.
   3. Substitute employment in the District creates no entitlement to regular employment in Cache County School District.
