Negotiation Procedures - Classified

1. The Board will recognize the Cache Classified Employees Association ("Association") as the exclusive representative of all members of the classified staff upon being furnished with satisfactory evidence that a majority of said staff members have designated or selected the Association as their representative.
2. Written requests for negotiations between the Board and the Association may be submitted by either party to the other between February 1, and April 1, of each year. Negotiation items may include salaries, wages, hours, and conditions of employment. Such requests will specify the subject matter to be included in negotiations and will include a summary of the intended proposals.
3. The negotiation sessions will be conducted at times and places mutually agreeable to the negotiators named by each party; provided, however, that the first meeting be held within ten days of either party receiving the written request.
