Cache County School District Update on Bond Construction
Projects
We are excited to share an update on the progress of our ongoing construction projects. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our community. We've made great strides and are on track for a successful year of development. The District has entered into all necessary contracts for the Projects listed.
Project 1: Nibley Middle School
Current Status: Construction is progressing on schedule. The outside shell of the building is nearly complete and work continues on the inside. We are approximately 49% completion on this school. We anticipate construction completing on August 10, 2026.
- Bid Amount: $50,022,775
- Construction Start Date: May 15 2024
- Estimated Cost: $54,479,702 (Note: This estimated cost is based on the final bid and includes material, labor, and associated fees)
Project 2: Hyde Park Middle School
Current Status: Construction is progressing on schedule. The outside shell of the building is nearly complete and work continues on the inside. We are approximately 54% completion on this school. We anticipate construction completing on August 10, 2026.
- Bid Amount: $51,294,647
- Construction Start Date: April 23, 2024
- Estimated Cost: $55,751,574 (Note: This estimated cost is based on the final bid and includes material, labor, and associated fees)
Project 3: Hyde Park Elementary School
Current Status: This project is currently in the pre-construction phase. We have broken ground and are focusing on earthwork. We are approximately 5% completion on this School. We anticipate construction completing on August 15, 2026.
- Bid Amount: $25,275,814
- Construction Start Date: May 27, 2025
- Estimated Cost: $26,812,000 (Note: This estimated cost is based on the final bid and includes material, labor, and associated fees)
