Policy No. 5200 Involuntary Transfers
- When in the best interest of the School District it becomes necessary to transfer individuals, notice of an involuntary transfer shall be given as soon as possible.
- When involuntary transfer is necessary, an employee’s competence (ability to perform duties), major and minor field of university study (licenses and endorsements held), and seniority in the Cache School District shall be considered in determining which employee(s) is (are) to be transferred.
- In situations where transfers are needed due to a shift in enrollment, the opening of a new school, or similar situation, volunteers from among those affected shall be transferred first.
