Cache County School District is among the premier school districts in Utah. Our district has 25 schools and 20,275 students, with a 95% high school graduation rate. CCSD is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Our community is active, nurturing, and family-oriented.

Our Curriculum

Elementary School: EXPLORING

In our elementary schools, children engage in hands-on learning. Teachers craft lessons that help students cultivate curiosity, creativity, social-emotional growth, and responsible citizenship.

Special programs:

Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Program: Our arts curriculum integrates dance, music, theatre, and visual arts with other classroom subjects such as math, science, and social studies.
Dual-language immersion: Cache County School District offers Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish dual-immersion pathways for students grades 1-12.
School Enrichment Model: Our elementary schools offer the School Enrichment Model (SEM) curriculum, which provides advanced language arts lessons and projects for gifted students.

Middle School: EXPANDING

Beginning in middle school, students take College and Career Preparation classes. Our middle school students deepen their understanding of core subjects while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Students also take a variety of elective courses as they begin to explore their interests.

Special programs:

Dual-language immersion: Cache County School District offers four dual-language immersion programs: Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Students begin dual-immersion work in first grade and continue through twelfth.
Electives: Our middle schools provide band, choir, coding, guitar, introductory Spanish, and orchestra classes. Each school also has additional individual offerings.

HIGH SCHOOL: EXCELLING

High school is the culmination of our students' previous learning experiences. Our students pursue their passions, take on individual responsibility, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts. They graduate prepared for future careers, higher education, and personal growth.

Special programs:

Advanced Placement (AP) & Concurrent Enrollment (CE): Students can earn college credits through a plethora of AP and CE courses.
BTECH Courses: We partner with Bridgerland Technical College to offer hands-on training and certification in technical fields.
Dual-language immersion: Cache County School District offers four dual-language immersion programs: Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Students begin dual-immersion work in first grade and continue through twelfth.
Honors or Accelerated Math: Our high schools offer many opportunities for advanced math learners such as taking "Honors" sections of Secondary Math 1, 2, and 3, or following an accelerated AP Math and Statistics track.
UHSAA-Sanctioned Athletics and Arts: Our high schools shine in regional, state, and national athletic, artistic, and academic competitions.
