• Randee McBride's Suggested Supplies for 6th grade 2021-2022

Students will need a backpack or other bag to carry their materials between school and home. I will give each student a planner and a homework folder, which they should carry back and forth each day. Please check their homework folder and planner daily. They will be assigned a hook in the classroom to hang their bag and jacket/coat. Cold lunches may be stored on the shelf in the back of the room. Our classroom is in a portable, and it is pretty close quarters! The portable does not have cubbies so any other items students bring should fit in their desk or backpack when they are not in use.

Please label all individual supplies with student name

    • Leadership Binder (1 inch binder with plastic view cover, any color) Their Leadership Binder will stay in the classroom and should not be used as their daily binder
    • Daily Binder to stay organized/hold planner, folders, notes and handouts for each subject
    • 4 pocket folders and 4 divider tabs (or, if you use the divider tabs with pockets you will not need separate folders) (one for each of the following subjects: Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math)
    • Pencil pouch or box to hold personal supplies
    • Personal pencils and pencil sharpener - non motorized and with shavings catcher, if possible
    • Personal Scissors, 1 glue stick, 1 highlighter, 1 red pen
    • Personal headphones (if student does not want to use the school headphones, I suggest getting them a pair of very inexpensive earbud style headphones, please label these and put them in a baggie if possible.)
    • Non-breakable water bottle (please fill at home before school each day and please wash each weekend)
