I am beyond excited to be joining Millville Elementary this year! I feel honored to be teaching 6th grade at such a wonderful school. I grew up mostly in West Jordan, Utah but spent time living in Japan and Germany while my Dad served in the United States Air Force.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University.  Teaching is a dream come true for me!  In my spare time I love to read, bike, run, and be with my family and friends.  I also love to travel and have visited 23 countries including New Zealand, Italy, Australia, Cyprus and Vanuatu. My favorite part about teaching is watching the students to learn and progress. This year is going to be the best one yet!

I have been married for five years and have lived in Cache Valley for three years. We have one little girl at home who keeps us very busy! I graduated with my teaching degree from BYU-Idaho with an endorsement in Language Arts. My husband and I love playing with our daughter, going to Bear Lake, spending time with family, playing card games, and are currently doing a Marvel Marathon!  I absolutely love teaching and knew it was the career path for me since middle school.

I’m so excited to start working at Millville Elementary! Ever since I was in 3rd grade I’ve wanted to be a teacher and I’m so excited to finally start teaching this year. I grew up here in Cache Valley, and both my husband and I graduated from Utah State this past spring. I met my husband in middle school and we’ve been married for almost 2 years! Some of my hobbies are mountain biking, wake surfing, and camping.

I grew up in Smithfield and now reside in Nibley with my two children and Chihuahua. I helped build my own house plus four others with a community home-building program. I enjoy challenges and learning new things. I like to be outside working in my yard and watching my kids play. I enjoy getting lost in a book and love to reread my favorites (Harry Potter is the best!). In 2015 I graduated from Utah State University and have been teaching at Millville ever since. I’m so grateful to be able to teach at such an amazing school!
