Dear Students and Parents,
I send you all a warm welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Sky View. You are attending one of the top high schools in the State of Utah.
This year our theme is “2020 Vision”. We have an opportunity to have a fantastic year, but it will be better if we all can see we have a place of belonging and an important role to play in making it a successful school year.
What makes Sky View a great place to be is an outstanding, caring and dedicated teaching staff and tremendous student leaders. There are also rich traditions and a culture of excellence. We have students that achieve, work hard, and are involved in activities of value, both at school and in the community.
I would like to invite all Sky View families and alums to attend our “Bold & Blue” celebration on Monday, August 5th, as we kick off a new school year with food, games and a fun family outdoor movie. Also, our incoming Freshman should attend our Bobcat Academy on August 20th to get acclimated to this great school.
I am so honored and excited to be the Principal of Sky View High School. Our mission statement is Relationships, Character and Knowledge (RCK). I look forward to meeting each of you and working with you throughout the year. I invite each of you to make a determination to make this year the best. It’s a great day to be a BOBCAT!
Dr. Michael E. Monson
Principal, Sky View High School
