I am a farm girl at heart. Star Valley, Wyoming is where I grew up. My childhood included riding horses, feeding calves, and spending time outdoors with my family. I still love to go back and visit. I knew I always wanted to be a teacher, because both my parents were educators. So I moved to Logan to attend USU. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in both Elementary Education and Secondary Education. For 21 years now, I have taught in the Cache School District. Several years ago, I went back and got my Master's Degree in School Counseling. Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks!

My husband, Randy, and I live in North Logan with our adorable doggie, Darla. I have two girls, and now two granddaughters. Being a "Gramsie" is the best! I love being outside, working in my yard, and decorating. My husband and I like to travel. Visiting Japan, and climbing Mt. Fuji is an experience I'll never forget! I love most food, and have a horrible sweet tooth... cheesecake, brownies, homemade ice cream shakes. But I also drink Diet Mtn. Dew, so that evens everything out, right?

I love helping children and am so excited to be Greenville's School Counselor.

Students' think it’s great to call me Ms. Cookie.  I have been teaching over 20 years.  I grew up in West Valley City, UT.  I went to Ricks College, USU, and received my Masters from GCU.  I have one sister and two step-brothers.  Inherited my niece's Beta which has been a challenge as my cat finds watching him and batting at him highly entertaining.   I enjoy learning, traveling, snow shoeing, hiking, spelunking, riding bikes, and reading.  I can't turn down a brownie or cinnamon bears.  I enjoy a variety of foods except for mussels. I enjoy watching Disney and other types of feel good movies.  I want to get scuba certified for more reasons to play in the water.  I absolutely love teaching! My students inspire me to do better and be better!

I grew up in Honeyville, Utah, but most of my life has been spent in Cache County. My father taught in Logan and I was able to accompany him from 3rd to 5th grade. After High School (Box Elder) I attended Utah State and have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a masters in education. My first teaching job was in Houston, Texas as a bilingual 1st grade teacher. Time really flies when you’re having fun and it’s hard to believe that this is my 16th year as a teacher.  During the summer months, I continue to work in the family business as an apiarist. This is the only job that I have worked in longer than being an educator. My wife and I have 3 children and 2 dogs. We love to watch sports and one would think that we enjoy baseball the most since we have been to all but 5 of the major league ballparks but the Utah Jazz are our favorites to watch and follow. Most of my free time now revolves around my children and taking them to their different events.

Hi everyone! My name is Miranda Weed and this is my first year as a speech language pathologist at Greenville elementary. I feel lucky to be at one of the best schools in the state! I grew up in Farr West Utah and graduated from Fremont High School. I attended USU and received my Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education and my Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.

I love living in Cache Valley and spend a lot of time outdoors. I enjoy skiing, hiking, paddle boarding, etc. I love music and have been playing the violin for 17 years. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have read each of the 7 books at least 10 times. Another one of my favorite things to do is to travel with my family or friends. This summer I went to England, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and Hawaii. I hope to cross off more bucket list places soon!

I am so excited to be a Greenville Dragon! If you have questions about your child's speech and language therapy or speech and language therapy in general, please feel free to stop by my room, email, or call at any time. I am happy to help.

I joined the Greenville Team in Fall of 2017.  I have the opportunity to serve as the Literacy Facilitator for the school.  This means I help with reading groups, testing, data, and other literacy support for teachers.  In addition to being a facilitator at Greenville, I help at the district office with special projects and professional development.  I have been a facilitator since 2012.  Before that I taught Kindergarten and ESL.  I love learning and have endorsements in math, reading, gifted & talented, ESL, and am currently finishing up my STEM endorsement.  I earned a master's degree in administration; which means I could possibly become a principal someday!  I grew up in Provo and graduated from Provo High.  Since Provo High was basically a mini-BYU, I decided to nix the idea of becoming a cougar and became an Aggie instead!  I am married to a cool guy named Troy and we have 3 children.  My youngest attends Greenville Elementary.  My favorite hobbies include reading, running, camping, hiking, movie-watching (totally counts as a hobby), and sport-spectating (baseball, football, son's lacrosse).  I love to spend time with my immediate family and get together with my 3 sisters (aka my best friends).  I also love being a Greenville Dragon!  If you have questions about your child and reading, please don't hesitate to contact me.  You can also visit the district literacy website I have developed for parent resources (http://www.cachedistrictliteracy.org/).

I'm excited that I have joined the fabulous Greenville team in Fall 2018. I grew up in Hyde Park, Ut. I've lived in Cache Valley all but 18 months where I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Southern California. I come from a great big family. I have 6 sisters and 3 brothers. I'm number seven. Fun fact about myself is that when I was in Elementary school I also went to Greenville. In high school I enjoyed a little bit of everything. I participated in Band, Art and was on a couple of sport teams. I graduated from Sky View High School. Right after I graduated I went straight up to Utah State the following Fall. (Go Aggies!) I've recently graduated with my Bachelors and am thrilled to be teaching art to the wonderful children of Greenville.  My favorite treat is chocolate chip cookies, Kit-Kat or orange powerade.

This is my 1st year at Greenville as a PE specialist.  I grew up here in the valley,  graduated from Sky View High School, then attended Dixie State College where I was able to play softball.  I am married and have two amazing children.  When I am not chasing my kids to their activities, I love to snow ski!  If I have a chance to be skiing, I will be there.  My other favorite place is Bear Lake.  Swimming, boating, skiing, wild tube rides and just being on the lake.  I also like to road bike, camp, explore and learn new things, travel, and be with my family.  I love, love chips and salsa!  I would love to travel the world.  I think PE is the best and am happy for the opportunity to be here at Greenville.
