Once upon a time in a land not so far away there lived a little girl who loved ballet, singing, and playing outside. But more than anything she loved to read. In third grade her love for learning took off. She read about mysteries (Nancy Drew), history (Samantha), and adventure (Harry Potter). As Miss Edgar grew older her love of learning never left. She graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and is excited to share her adventures in Kindergarten!

Hi! My name is Taya Carling and I am so excited to be joining the Greenville family as the newest Kindergarten teacher. I was born and raised in North Logan and even attended Greenville Elementary as part of my own childhood education. I have spent the last year student teaching at Sunrise Elementary in Smithfield in both 1st and 3rd grade. At the beginning of May, I graduated from Utah State University and am now looking forward to taking my new skills and ideas into the classroom. I have always had a passion for working with children and learning with them. I hope to create a classroom with a warm, engaging, and playful learning environment. I look forward to starting my first year of teaching with you and your children!
