I am originally from Wellsville and am one of many sisters and two brothers. I grew up learning how to work hard and love people from working with my dad at the age of 8. I live in Mendon with my wonderful husband, my 14 year-old twin sons, my 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son. We have two dogs, a cat and six chickens. My favorite food is Mexican. I love El Toro, and Chili’s, pizza, and Italian. I especially love my husband's cooking. On top of that, I love that he loves to cook because I don't. I love to run, dance, ski, play with my family, camp, boat, read, learn and TEACH! I love to learn so much that I wanted to teach others to learn. I have my Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education and my Master’s degree is in English Language Learners. My favorite part of teaching is when I can see children recognize that they have overcome a challenge or when they can see how much they have grown.

The story of Mr. Greene is exciting and filled with adventure. However, in the interest of time and space, you only get the boring basics. I was born in a small city in upstate New York off the Hudson River. While I was still young, my family moved to Utah to be closer to family. First to Orem then later to Sandy, which I consider to be my home town. After graduating high school (Jordan High) and serving an LDS mission to the Philippines, I moved to Logan to attend Utah State. Though I got my college degrees from Utah State, I have never wavered in my loyalty to the Cougars of BYU. In fact, I have not missed a BYU home game in 25 years (minus said LDS mission). Go Cougs!!! I currently live in Hyde Park. Go Hyde Park!!! :) I am an avid sports fan, mostly the Jazz and Cougars. I like going to the movies, especially Star Wars and other Disney movies. I play basketball and read books in my other spare time, as if I had any. Donuts, Gossner's Milk, and DiGiorno's stuffed crust pizza are food passions of mine. In the summer, I enjoy going camping and fishing. I also work a part time job at Icon Health & Fitness. I love teaching more than anything else. I have taught the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades and look forward to every minute of teaching the great kiddos of this school.

Who is Mrs. Pugh? She is the mother of six amazing children and has one sweet granddaughter (with a grandson coming in Feb!). She is fulfilling her dream job of being a fourth grade teacher. If she’s not at school, she loves spending time in the woods or curling up with a fantastic novel and a big cup of caramel apple cider. She grew up near the Flaming Gorge in Wyoming and yes, she can waterski! She does NOT like video games and hardly watches television but if she does, it will be the Home and Garden channel. Odd fact: she helped her family renovate an old 1901 hotel building while she was growing up. She has been at Greenville for 8 years now and hopes to visit each state before she dies!
