I have been teaching school for 30 years! (about the time that dinosaurs roamed the earth) :) I have a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have taught at Sky View, North Park, and Greenville. I love teaching school. I enjoy teaching math especially. Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my husband, Ron,  and my 5 children. I love and adore my grandchildren. I have 2 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. Every Friday night is grandma sleepover at Papa Ron's house. We watch movies, wrestle, eat pizza and stay up late. I love it!!!! :) I also love to read and nap. I think I could win a gold medal for napping if it was an Olympic sport! :) I have a twin Sister, Lisa Broadbent. She is my best friend and she loves to come to school and help me whenever she can. You might remember her as "Thing 1" on Halloween. My favorite food is EVERYTHING!! I especially love bread, chocolate, caramel, and Diet Coke. I love to eat out and I love to cook.

I grew up in Sandy, Utah and spent all of my formative years attending various schools in that area. When I got married my husband and I built a house in Herriman, but the population grew and it lost the small town feel we were looking for. Having family in the Logan area we decided to move to Cache Valley to raise our children, I have two, a son (Gavin 16), and a daughter (Tahnee 26). One of my favorite things to do is to spend time with my family (Now that they are getting older, it is a rare treat to do this). We love to go hiking, watch movies, and go to different restaurants. My favorite treats are chocolate, popcorn, and Diet Coke. My idea of a day well spent would be to curl up with a good book, a blanket, and my dog. I am excited to be here at Greenville Elementary and can’t wait to meet you!

I grew up in Washington state until my senior year of high school. I now live in Providence with my family. I am the middle child of five kids. I attended USU for my teaching degree. Some things I enjoy are being outside, reading, writing, running, hiking, camping, singing, traveling, and being with family and friends. I am a very active person so I love playing volleyball, soccer, ultimate, or anything else that requires you to move. My favorite food is everything, but my favorite desserts are brownies, chocolate pie, and chocolate chip cookies. I also like to cook and do a lot of recipe experimenting. I am a proud aunt of my nieces and nephews. I spend a lot of time with them every week. Some of my favorite books are “Adventurers Wanted”, “Island of the Blue Dolphins”, “Fablehaven”, and “Harry Potter”. I am a big fan of movies and I love quoting them. I love books and movies so much because I love adventure. Traveling the world is a dream of mine and I hope to visit many places, experiencing all different types of cultures. Being a teacher is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I am excited to teach my first year at Greenville Elementary. I can’t wait to get to know the kids to create positive relationships and engaging learning experiences!
