Sky View High School participated in the state-wide Read-a-Thon, with students and staff taking time to read and competing for prizes.

Once a week, the streets of Hyde Park and Smithfield echo a joyful cacophony of noise: the pings of bells, the squeals of brake pedals, the tick-tick-tick of coasting wheels. And above it all, the happy voices of children on their way to school. These are Cedar Ridge and Birch Creek Elementary’s “Bike Buses,” beloved programs that allow students to make friends, travel to and from school together, and enjoy some fresh air.
